• Q: What is the difference between softwash and pressure washing?

The main difference between soft washing and pressure washing is the amount of pressure used to clean surfaces

Uses a high-pressure water stream to remove dirt and grime. Pressure washers can reach up to 3,300 pounds per square inch (PSI). Pressure washing is effective for removing stubborn stains and mold, but it can damage surfaces if done incorrectly.

    Soft washing

Uses a low-pressure washer and cleaning solutions to break down dirt and grime. Soft washing is gentler than pressure washing and is better for delicate surfaces. Soft washing can also prevent mold and mildew growth.

Here are some other differences between soft washing and pressure washing:

    • Best for: Soft washing is best for roofs, siding, stucco, cedar shake, and some wood panel siding. Pressure washing is best for hard surfaces like patios, walkways, sidewalks, and driveways.
    • Safety: High-power pressure washers can be dangerous if used incorrectly.
    • Cleaning process: Soft washing involves applying a biodegradable chemical to loosen dirt, then rinsing with low-pressure water. Pressure washing involves using a high-pressure water stream to dislodge dirt and grime
  • Q: What do you pressure wash?

Driveways, Walkways and curbs plus homes

  • Q. What do you soft wash?

Fences, Brick and stone planters, Walkways and driveways.

  • Q. Why can't I do this myself?

The main reason most people don't do it themselves is the cost of the equipment, the knowledge to operate it properly and most importantly is the time constraints as most people do not realize the toll it can take on one's body.

  • Q. What kind of experience do you have?

I have over ten years' experience in operating pressure washing equipment and I know the proper chemicals to use if any are needed to complete the job. The expense to operate and have all the required materials is a big investment. Most people think a wand washer is the best way to get the job done, and it is a proven fact that a surface cleaner can save you time, but then again there is the cost.

  • Q. What kind of equipment do you use?

I use a Honda 3300psi machine with the ability to adjust the pressure, as it is the best and easily available to move around as needed.

  • Q. Would soft washing or pressure washing increase the curbside appeal of my home?

Yes, curbside appeal is what makes the home shine. You may clean your driveways and walkways, but if you fail to clean the curbs, it is like coloring a picture without an outline. Make your home stand out by doing the complete job.

  • Q. How much does this cost?

Depending on the job description, it can cost anywhere between 20 cents a square foot to 40 cents a square foot.

  • Q. How long will this take?

A typical two car driveway and walkway to your front door usually takes two hours to complete properly.

  • Q. Do I have to be home while you are working?

You do not need to be at home as the work does not require customer participation.

  • Q. Who will be doing the work?

Stephen Soape will be doing all the work as I find it more efficient to work alone as I get in the zone and do it once and do it great.

  • Q. What type of payment do you take?

Payment type is cash, credit card, debit card or checks.
